I went in straight, I came out Gay. Simon Shallot gives a career defining performance in this 50 minute show.
I cannot give away what happens, but over the course of the show Simon manages to convince the whole audience that they are in fact Gay, and that they should stop denying it. The show might be subtly different every day, but by report, every day, he manages the same feat.
Some men in the audience are (initially) violently against the idea, but through vigorous debate and a few very effective techniques, he convinces even the most devout homophobe that they are in fact an out-and-out homosexual. It was wonderful to discover, along with an audience of 400 people, that we are all in fact Gay. And by the end of the show we were embracing our gayness together, with a sing-along-a-dancing queen.
