Shoreditch High Street (from Jan 2020)
A sensation in San Francisco and New York, the Bi-sexual bagel emporium brings it’s doughy revolution to London’s trendy shoreditch.
The proprietors of the venue are very strict that all of their products are bi-sexual, and while I was skeptical to begin with, the bagel I had – Cream cheese and gherkin – was not only one of the tastiest bagels I’ve ever tasted, but one of the most sexually adventurous, unbound by mores of gender.
The owners are keen to assert that it is the bagels that are bi-sexual, and not the staff or the clientele. They are perhaps too keen to state this, and all the staff had T-shirts on that said “My sexual orientation is none of your business, just enjoy your fucking Bi-Sexual Bagels”
This of course was a much better experience than the CIS bakery I attended last week, which were beige tasteless, and just like ever other bagel I had eaten up until the age of 24.
Everyone is welcome to try these sexually liberated bready rolls. A great experience – 4 stars.
