Uruguay’s premier Stage Autopsian, Juan Manuela has us rapt with his deft and steady hands as they delve into the dead and bring all manner of funny and interesting things out.
The are some extreme moments of hilarity, when Juan surprises us all by turning stage magician and produces a set of flags from the pancreas of one cadaver – all to loud gasps of joy and delight from the family of the corpse in question.
The highlight of the show is a surprise autopsy, where someone in the audience is presented with a friend or relative who they didn’t know was dead, and through the careful dissection and analysis of their skin and organs Juan confirms not only their age but also what killed them.
